History

Fratelli Cane founded in the 19th century, has more than 60 years experience in plastic material processing, using extrusion blow molding and injection molding technologies.   Over the years, it has diversified its production into different sectors.

Environmental sustainability

Fratelli Cane is sensitive to the environmental and ecological issues and has an efficient recycling service, mainly intended for the packaging sector. The thermoplastic material is reduced to flakes and separated from impurities, which is checked in the laboratory, and then reused for new products. Recycling the material from old creates not just an economic advantage but also gives added value to the new product which is eco-friendly.

PROGETTO SAFE - SVILUPPO DI SOLUZIONI INNOVATIVE PER LA SOSTENIBILITÀ E LA SICUREZZA

Con il decreto di concessione 2003 del 27-06-2023 è stata concessa al partenariato composto da Cossa Polimeri Srl, Fiplast Srl, Fratelli Cane Srl, Sapienza Università di Roma un’agevolazione complessiva pari ad € 3.599.126,25 a fronte di un investimento ammesso pari a 6.136.948,75. Le agevolazioni previste dal decreto ministeriale 31 dicembre 2021 sono concesse ai soggetti beneficiari, per la realizzazione del progetto di ricerca e sviluppo denominato “Sviluppo di semi-lavorati e prodotti finiti per la salvaguardia Ambientale e sicuri per l’uomo: soluzioni per il settore del packaging alimentare, igienico sanitario, protezione Fiamma e resistenza Elettrica (SAFE)”, individuato con il numero F/310082/01-04/X56

DURATA DEL PROGETTO: 36 mesi 

OBIETTIVO DEL PROGETTO: Lo sviluppo di semilavorati in materiale plastico a bassa impronta ambientale per il settore dell’imballaggio alimentare, del trasporto degli alimenti e dei compenti per applicazioni elettriche/elettroniche.
